Quite a title there, huh? What kind of exciting act deserves to be ranked so highly in the history of my life?
Me going on a fantastic vacation to some sort of exotic locale? Me eating the best cheese steak ever? Me winning millions of dollars in a lottery?
Nope. Nothing like those at all.
In fact, what I was doing during The Best Moment of My life would probably be viewed by most people as being a very average and sort of routine thing. I’m not even going to say what it was because it really doesn’t matter what it was.
What matters to me, and to the other person I shared the moment with, is how we felt during that moment.
For me, I’d never felt so much complete happiness before. I felt more complete love going from my heart into someone else’s heart than I’d ever given before. Also, and most amazingly, I felt the exact same thing coming from her at the exact same time.
Two hearts totally connecting into one.
When I felt it happening, my mouth opened to tell her that it was the best moment in my life. I spoke the words and was surprised to find that I was crying as I said them.
The tears were obviously not from sadness. I was happier than I’d ever been before. It’s now almost 24 hours later and I’m still flying as high as I was in that moment.
I don’t see myself coming down anytime soon.
I love you, Lisa.
We truly are one.
